Facilities

Most procedures are performed in an approved operating theater at one of two locations. The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, founded in 1820 and located in downtown Manhattan, has long been a leader in providing cosmetic facial surgery. The Infirmary has 14 operating rooms, and provides inpatient care, when needed. For cosmetic surgery patients wishing to stay in the facility overnight, The Infirmary provides "hotel" level service for a discounted rate.

Alternatively, the Institute for Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine at Northern Westchester Hospital Center is a state-of-the-art facility for elective cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. It is located adjacent to Northern Westchester Hospital Center in Mt. Kisco, NY. The staff, nurses and physicians are all trained in the care of the cosmetic surgery patient. Overnight facilities are also available if desired.

Both facilities are accustomed to providing quality care for the aesthetic facial plastic surgery patient. All employees (nurses, physicians and clerical staff) are trained in providing for the specific needs of the aesthetic surgery patient. By performing procedures in a full service facility, we can ensure maximum comfort and safety for our patients.

Many patients prefer to stay nearby, but do not require active hospital monitoring or care. Several reasonably priced hotels offer quality service. In Westchester, the Wellsley Hotel in nearby Armonk, N.Y. will provide transportation from the hospital to the hotel and offers a choice of single rooms or suites. In New York City, the Affinia Luxury Suite Hotels (212-320-8050) chain offers modern suites in a variety locations throughout Manhattan.
